Axes are offensive equipment which provides a damage boost, and in the case of a Mage Masher, some additional effects. Two axes can be equipped per troll at a time, and carrying any of the Shields will limit you to using one axe (unless inventory restrictions are taken off with game mode settings). There are 5 different axes, which are all constructed in the Armoury, and the components must be placed in the given order (due to recipe similarities, some players often create spears instead of axes by accident). Having any axe equipped allows a troll to cut down trees, with the exception of the Chicken Form troll.
